Landscape Architecture Track

For the last few years Tamar has been interested in developing and improving aspects of sustainability. To this end, she was one of the co-founders of the ILGBC- the Israeli Green Building Council, and currently is part of the Israeli Association of Landscape Architects team compiling and advancing SLIL- Sustainable Landscapes Israel, a green building code specifically for landscape Architecture, based on Israeli practices, (some of which are questionable…). She's held numerous professional roles, namely 5 years as President of the Israeli Landscape Association. One of the main projects she was involved in was the Trans-Israel Highway, where she held the position of Landscape and Development Manager. Though it was and still remains a controversial project, the rehabilitation concept that Tamar advanced and implemented as part of the Concessionaire, did indeed advance and improve landscape practices.
