Urban and Regional Planning Track
Helly was awarded a bachelor's degree in Community Social Work at the Hebrew University and an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Urban and Regional Planning at the Technion. During her studies, her research focused on the experience of being displaced by development processes and the psychological and social implications of the forced displacement. For the last three years, Helly devoted her time practicing, researching, and advocating various planning policy issues, especially concerning their adaption to Arab towns and cities in Israel, alongside teaching at the Technion.
