Heather’s presentation will provide an introduction to Marine Spatial Planning and its evolution over a 20-year period in the Irish Sea Region (all of the UK, Ireland and the Isle of Man) by looking at the developments in marine legislation and national-level marine plans. The presentation will also introduce challenges and opportunities for transboundary MSP and will highlight the complexities of planning across marine borders.
