Graduates 2024: Architecture and Landscape Architecture
The end-of-year submissions and the final projects exhibition of the architecture and landscape architecture graduates mark the culmination of their studies at the faculty.
This year, at the beginning of October, the final projects exhibition was held at the new Aviva and Andrew Goldenberg Pavilion (for the Architecture program) and at the PeKA Gallery (for the Landscape Architecture program). Following the physical exhibition, we are very happy and proud to present, as we do every year, an online exhibition of the projects, organized by groups and themes.
During their years of study, the students acquired knowledge, ways of thinking, and tools, and formulated a worldview that allows them to embark on an independent path in their professional lives. Therefore, the works present a clear critical and professional stance in the face of the social, economic, and environmental challenges of our time. Through a process of research by design, each of the projects in the exhibition architecturally examines a central question in a specific field chosen by the student, and proposes new answers and questions, through planning alternatives that creatively attempt to deal with these issues.
This impressive achievement is particularly noteworthy in the complex period we are going through, a year of war, darkness, and great pain. In my view, it is precisely in this reality that it is essential to seek and create points of light - and I see the Technion, the Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning, our students, and each and every one of the graduates, as a large and important point of light. This exhibition proves that hardship can be turned into creative force, excellence, and hope. The desire to create, to research, to innovate, and to contribute in order to make the world a better place and to achieve a quality, good, and just environment for people is inspiring and a source of pride for all of us.
I would like to thank the team of instructors and wish the graduates success and fulfillment in their professional lives!
Enjoy a pleasant and instructive visit to the exhibition.
