Mr. Itamar Ben David

Urban and Regional Planning Track
Urban and Regional Planner, his last public position (2017-2022) has been Chairman of the Haifa District Planning Committee (Housing Headquarters – Ministry of Finance and Planning Headquarters – Ministry of Interior).
During Technion studies, he started to work in a vriety of public sector planning positions (Planning Authority planner - Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Director of Strategic Long Term Planning Department - Planning Administration Ministry of Interior, Director of Planning Department - Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel – SPNI). In all public positions mentioned, he experienced membership as representative of different stakeholders in a variety of local, district and national planning committees. He holds a BA in Geography from Bar-Ilan University (1995-1997) and an MA in Urban and Regional Planning from the Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning, Technion (1997-2000).
Since 2023 He work as Senior Planning Consultant (Urban and regional Planning, Real Estate Development, Environmental Planning and Climate Change issues) and leading and developing of "Ulpan 1 – Urban Planning studio" and "Ulpan 2 - Neighborhood Planning studio", Graduate Program in Urban and Regional Planning, Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning, Technion.
He sees his work at the Technion as a great opportunity to continue leading a multigenerational trend in Israeli planning - which strives to create from the State of Israel a good and pleasant sustainable place to live in this generation and for future generations.
