Congratulations to Asst. Prof. Shany Barath for winning the Alexander Goldberg Research Prize Fund 2024, on her work in the field of Biodesign; Cyanobacteria-Powered 3d Printing of Carbon Efficient Building Components. The prize is awarded for an outstanding research contributing directly or indirectly to Israel’s industry.
The research developed in Asst. Prof. Barath’s lab with Doctoral candidate Perla Armaly Bathish and Master candidate Yuval Berger, includes a first collaboration in the Technion between the Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning and Biotechnology and Food Engineering with Prof. Yechezkel Kashi and Dr. Lubov Iliassafov.
